Train services on several routes in and out of Luxembourg City will be temporarily suspended overnight from Friday to Saturday due to a major computer system update.
The disruption will occur between 10 p.m. on Friday and 4 a.m. on Saturday, affecting the following rail segments:
- Luxembourg City to Mersch
- Luxembourg City to Oetrange
- Luxembourg City to Bertrange
- Luxembourg City to Bettembourg
- Luxembourg City to Dippach-Reckange
To ensure continued connectivity, CFL will operate replacement bus services across all impacted routes during the maintenance window.
This scheduled suspension is part of an ongoing modernization effort. Recent upgrades include newly installed rail infrastructure at Luxembourg City station and the Howald interchange hub, aimed at enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the country’s railway network.
