Anthropic has secured $30 billion in new investment, driving its valuation to $380 billion and more than doubling the $183 billion figure from its September funding round. The dramatic increase highlights the intense competition for stakes in leading AI companies.

The funding round was led by GIC and Coatue Management, with the transaction standing among the largest private capital raises ever completed. GIC’s chief investment officer characterized Anthropic as the definitive leader in enterprise artificial intelligence.

The company reports annualized revenue of $14 billion, having maintained tenfold annual revenue growth for three consecutive years. This consistent hypergrowth demonstrates both technological superiority and effective commercialization.

Claude Code, which became generally available in May 2025, has significantly contributed to revenue gains. This AI coding assistant has found widespread adoption among enterprises seeking to improve software development efficiency.

Despite high operational costs, Anthropic forecasts improved financial efficiency. The company expects cash burn to decline to approximately one-third of revenue in 2026 and just 9% by 2027, with a break-even target of 2028.
