As of midnight on Friday, October 30, consumers can expect a shift in fuel prices, with high-octane petrol costs decreasing while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and propane prices are set to rise. SuperPlus 98 petrol (E5) will see a reduction of 3.7 cents, bringing its price down to €1.899 per litre starting Saturday, October 31.
Conversely, those relying on LPG and propane will encounter increased expenses. LPG prices are expected to rise by 2.9 cents, reaching €0.972 per litre, and residential propane will cost €0.953 per litre. These changes will affect households and businesses that depend on these fuels for heating and other purposes.
The updated fuel prices effective October 31 are as follows: EuroSuper 95 (E10) is priced at €1.759 per litre, Diesel (B7) at €2.11 per litre, and heating fuel at €1.601 per litre. Additionally, bottled propane will cost €2.459 per kilogram, and bottled butane will be priced at €2.262 per kilogram.
This adjustment in fuel prices means that while motorists using high-octane petrol will benefit from a small reduction in costs, those using LPG and propane should prepare for higher expenses. The changes reflect the ongoing fluctuations in the energy market, impacting consumers’ choices and expenses.
